Patrick was the artist-in-residence at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut in summer, 2021.

For two weeks he lived and worked on the grounds of the museum.

“My studio was in an old house on the waterfront. The whale-ship Charles W. Morgan was right out my front window.”

“Hundreds of guests came through to watch me paint and to see my little gallery.”

“I slept on one of their historic boats. It was a Friendship sloop, an old design created for lobstering in Maine. The accommodations were . . . well, they were spartan, but cozy.”
